Volunteer Liability Release Form

The undersigned, being of lawful age, acknowledge that there are great hazards, dangers, and risks of injury or death associated with horses and horseback riding. I know that horses, even under careful supervision, are unpredictable. Knowing & appreciating the danger, I desire to participate as a volunteer at Stepping Stone Farms School of Horsemanship Inc. and/or to participate in equestrian activities, either on site or elsewhere.

For good and valuable consideration, I do hereby:

RELEASE Stepping Stone Farms, and Stepping Stone Farms School of Horsemanship Inc a corporation , and their employees or agents and all other persons, corporations, associations or partnership from any and all claims whatsoever which I may incur on account of, or in any way growing out of bodily & personal injury resulting from any accident, casualty, or event involving me or members of my family or guests and arising out of equestrian activities associated with Stepping Stone Farms, or Stepping Stone Farms School of Horsemanship Inc.

UNDERSTAND that a person who is engaged for compensation in the rental of equines or equine equipment or tack or in the instruction of a person in the riding or driving of an equine or in being a passenger upon an equine is not liable for the injury or death of a person involved in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, as defined in section 895.481 (1)(E) 0f the Wisconsin Statutes.

I FURTHER COVENANT AND PROMISE never to institute any suit or action against any of the above named persons or institutions and agree to indemnify and hold the above identified persons from all further claims and damages, costs or expenses and reasonable attorney’s fees, which may be incurred by any of the persons identified above as the result of any accident or injury to me, members of my family or guests, which may result from the negligence of myself, members of my family or guests or any combination thereof.

I have read the above terms of the Release Agreement and executed the same on this date.
